Clinical Approach
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Feminist Theory, DBT, and IFS approaches to help clients make meaning of their experiences while building practical skills for resilience and healing.
Who I Work With
I work best with adult individuals of all genders navigating life transitions, relational or intergenerational trauma, identity and/or sexuality exploration, anxiety, and cultural expectations. I specialize in supporting clients who seek to be understood in their cultural context—and where they can safely unpack the weight of stressors.
Training & Credentials
M.S. in Mental Health Counseling, MHC-LP in New York State, with advanced training in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
My Why
My path to therapy was rooted in storytelling—first in media, then through supporting people as they rewrite personal and collective narratives. I'm continuously inspired by my clients' courage to show up, reflect, and grow, even when it's deeply challenging.
Treatment Philosophy
I believe that healing happens when people feel seen and understood—especially in environments where they've historically felt silenced. Therapy is a partnership, and I work to co-create a space where your whole self is welcome. This work is not about fixing you—it's about helping you remember your strength, reconnect with your truth, and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been left behind or undiscovered.
What to Expect
The first session is all about setting the tone for safety and curiosity. You can expect a mix of gathering your story and exploring what future sessions may look like—I'll meet you where you are and move at your pace. You'll know therapy is working when you start feeling more rooted in your values, more confident in your choices, and more spacious in your emotional responses—even during stress.
Creating Inclusive Space
As a woman of color, I understand the importance of holding space for the intersections of race, culture, gender, and empowerment. I actively examine my own biases and create a therapeutic space where your lived experience is not just valid but central to the work. I am passionate about supporting creatives, BIPOC individuals, and clients navigating identity expansion.
Beyond Therapy
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over two decades in media production—and I still find joy in the arts but am plenty happy simply sipping mint tea on a balcony somewhere in the world.
