Mental Health Counselor — Limited Permit (MHC-LP)

Who this is for
A pre-licensure clinician building toward LMHC who wants strong supervision and a steady, meaningful caseload while accruing hours.
What you'll do
Carry a minimum caseload of 10 clients (in-person at the NYC office, telehealth, or both), with relational and trauma-focused work as a core part of the practice.
What we offer
Supervision toward licensure in-house and included at no cost for 1 hours per week
$300 annual stipend toward trauma trainings
$50-75 per hour, fee-for-service
Up to 40 hours of paid sick leave per calendar year
Requirements
NY MHC limited permit (issued or in process)
Master's in mental health counseling or a related field
Interest in trauma work (EMDR, CPT, SEP, IFS)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

What you'll do

$80-115 per client hour

EMDR training or certification support, if desired
Operational support so your time goes to clients, not admin
Potential to become a clinical supervisor and have limited permits under your license
