Clinical Approach

I draw from Psychodynamic, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches. I also integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR and other trauma-focused modalities to guide our work together. I prioritize a relational approach to build a strong alliance and empower my clients. I believe that having space to voice your own experience matters, and that taking this first step into therapy is already a courageous act in itself.

Who I work with

Many of my clients are young-adults (20-24) struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions and stress management. I also have experience working with substance use/addiction and OCD.

Training & Credentials

Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Counselor, EMDR currently in training

My Why

I strongly believe every individual already possesses the strengths and resources inside of themselves to overcome challenges and create meaningful change. Sometimes it takes a safe, non-judgmental space to access those parts of ourselves and therapy can provide that. It is a privilege to listen to my client’s stories and witness their process of self-discovery and growth.

What to Expect

In our work together there is no need to prepare, just to show up. In our first few sessions, I follow your lead and get to know you at a pace that feels right for you. I establish a strong foundation, which is the basis of effective therapy work. We will take the time to discuss your goals and what you hope to get out of therapy in a collaborative effort.

Treatment Philosophy

Every part of ourselves is necessary and has a purpose, which is why I lead with an integrative, non-judgemental approach. I believe this is what makes the space that therapy provides special and unique to every individual utilizing their own inner resources and strengths.

Beyond Therapy

Outside of work I like to do workout classes, read and craft. I've done kickboxing, yoga, strength training and cycling and am always looking to try new activities. I thoroughly enjoy long walks and trying new cafes on weekends!
