Credentials
Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a Certified Grief Informed Professional.

Clinical Approach
I approach therapy as a human first and foremost. I have seen firsthand how important it is to build a trusting rapport with clients before we are able to move into deeper work. I find myself to be very person-centered and strengths based, particularly in our first meetings. Once we establish that rapport, I will utilize evidence-based approaches like Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), motivational interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, collaborating with my clients and seeing what feels most helpful. I also pull upon ideas from attachment theory to guide our work.
Who I Work With
My typical clients are young adults experiencing grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also work with actors, performers, and other creatives.
Training & Credentials
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a Certified Grief Informed Professional.
My Why
I find it deeply meaningful to support clients in discovering that they are capable of helping themselves while also experiencing the safety and trust that can develop within the therapeutic relationship. Through these corrective emotional experiences, clients can begin to challenge old patterns, build confidence in themselves, and develop more fulfilling connections with others.
What to Expect
In our first few meetings, I ask questions about upbringing, past mental health history, and generally try to get to know you better. This will continue throughout our relationship together, but as we establish a trusting foundation I will begin challenging some thoughts you may have, help you explore different perspectives, provide tools and coping mechanisms to address worries, just to name a few interventions I could use.
Treatment Philosophy
For me, it is imperative for clients to feel safe, seen, and heard. Because of this belief, I check in often with clients to see how they are feeling talking about certain topics. I understand that each client is the expert of their own experience and that it is a privilege to be invited into someone’s world even for a moment so I approach that responsibility with deep care and commitment.
Beyond Therapy
Outside of work, I am happiest spending time with my friends, family, my dog Link, and my bird Pesto. I enjoy baking anything from sourdough to cake pops, listening to Broadway cast recordings, getting lost in a good book, or going on walks."
